Rev Jeannell Johnson

Reverend Jeannell Lenora Chaney Johnson was born October 23 ,1949 in Bellamy, Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver L. and Martha E. Chaney. She joined the Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Whitfield, Alabama at an early age. Jeannell completed high school at Sumter County Training School in Livingston, Alabama in May of 1967. The following year, she attended modeling school In Chicago, Illinois, and later attended Over the Road Truck Driving School in Louisiana.
 
Jeannell married Michael L. Johnson, Sr. and together they had three beautiful children, (affectionately called my 3 M’s ) Muchell, Martha, and Michael Jr., nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
 
Jeannell joined the Allen Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in 1999 under the leadership of Reverend Stanley Sprewer and later accepted her calling to the ministry under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Robert L. Holt, Sr.
 
Minister Johnson received her Local Preacher’s license from Elder William Bell, Jr. on November 16, 2003. In 2009, she was licensed as a Local Deacon under the leadership of Reverend Adrian Swanigan, Sr.
 
Currently, she is serving under the Leadership of Reverend Jennifer I. Snapp at the Hamlett Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. 

Reverend Johnson, affectionately called Reverend Jeannell, is a born-again Christian. Her favorite two scriptures are the 121st Division of Psalms verse one, “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help,” and the 34th Division of Psalms, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Min. Delane Williams

Delane Paulette Williams is an associate minister at Hamlett Temple CME Church where she has been a member since 1956; being baptized by the late Reverend R.H. McEwen.

She answered the call to minister in 2018 under the pastorate of the late Reverend Dr. Robert L. Holt, receiving her Local Preacher License on May 20, 2018.

Minister Williams is a devout Christian with a passion for evangelizing to others; focusing on ministries for women’s spiritual needs. She is a retired Certified Pharmacist Technician along with being a mother, grandparent and great-grandparent.
